When another registered pet parent needs blood, potentially relevant donor dogs can be identified through the registry.

Pet parents connect
Contact follows your sharing preferences. Being contacted never creates an obligation to donate.

The veterinarian assesses
Blood compatibility, donor fitness, testing requirements, and the actual donation procedure remain under veterinary supervision.

You make the final decision
Even after registering, you can decline a particular request. Always.
A registry that works both ways
Registered pet parents become part of a shared emergency network. If their own dog needs blood in the future, they will be able to search for potentially relevant registered donors and request contact, subject to privacy and consent settings.
Medical consent for an actual donation is separate and should be handled at the veterinary facility.
